Eco-Burn Services was established in early 2002 with the sole intention to market innovative quality products available for saving energy, saving money and saving the environment. Intelligent heating controls are a primary technology for achieving these goals. The Eco-Burn® range of products, have been endorsed by the Energy Savings Trust (EST) and has achieved the Energy efficiency recommended badge you see above. In addition to this we have also received confirmation that our products are accepted under the Enhanced Capital Allowances scheme’s ‘energy technology list’ for energy efficient products.

Eco-Burn®, ECO-BURN COMMERCIAL ™ , Eco-Burn SME ™ and Kli-Mat® all deliver all the requirements of intelligent heating controls as set out in the governments energy efficiency Good Practice Guides 302 and 132, and more. These products cost effectively maximise the use of gas, LPG and domestic fuel oil used by “wet” central heating systems. Previously only very complicated computerised Building Management Systems installed in large buildings have been able to do anything like it.





npower have conducted energy audits on different premises around the country, reviewing established energy saving measures and recommending further changes to improve the energy efficiency and, of course, save money. The Red Lion Inn is one premises audited by npower, npower commented: “The Red Lion could benefit from ‘optimiser’ measures, optimising energy usage so making greater savings in the long term. Our review recommended Ecoburn ® which offers energy savings of at least 25%.” Emmerson press Ltd were also audited with the recommendation from npower: “Our review of Emmerson Press identified the need for optimised energy usage, Ecoburn® was recommended as an optimised controller for the sites boiler”.




Abbeyfield decided to have an Eco-Burn ® unit installed at their St Judes site on a trial basis back in 1999. The trial produced a total saving of gas under test conditions in excess of 60% . As a result the Society purchased the unit for St Judes and ordered several more units for all of their regional premises

“ Bolton Housing now Bolton @ home have over the past two/three years installed Eco-burn/Kli-mat energy management systems in a number of our properties. We first piloted 12 no. properties in various house types throughout the borough. Following C.P.A. analysis and the favourable reports, showing between 20-30 per cent saving in most cases it was decided to pilot a full estate comprising of 162 no. properties“.

The Eco-Burn® unit fitted to Jolliffe Cork Accountants in Wakefield was a success in a number of ways, from improved thermal comfort to reduced fuel bills.

Private Householder client: Mr D Spellman (retired Ex Director of the Halifax Building Society)

Mr D Spellman had an Eco-Burn fitted to his house some 2 years ago. It is fair to say that Mr Spellman was sceptical about the extent of the energy savings we could achieve. In the 12 months prior to Eco-Burn being fitted to his large detached property in West Yorkshire, Mr Spellman had employed a number of Plumbers in an attempt to improve his energy efficiency and more importantly achieve a constant level of thermal comfort.

Two years on, Mr Spellman has enjoyed savings on his oil bills in excess of £735 p.a relating to a 35% saving. He commented, “ The best bit is not the savings but the near perfect comfort achieved throughout the house."

When asked about the unit recently, Hotel Manager, Marc Bowers said, “Eco-Burn still controls the hotels heating system and we are very happy with performance of the unit."
