Intelligent Heating controls deliver
HECA targets and have received EST's‚ Energy Efficiency recommended'
endorsement
New energy saving solutions are the topic of many
conversations across the many HECA forums, especially as there is a brand
new innovative Intelligent Heating Control called KLI-MAT®, that
is shaking the entire thinking behind central heating control whilst
delivering affordable warmth helping to meet HECA and warm homes and
conservation act targets.

Services have developed KLI-MAT® (an
intelligent heating control) specifically developed for the social and
sheltered housing sector. With nearly ten years of development time and
over £1 million investment the controllers, that are manufactured in the
UK, offer much more than the average weather compensator.
KLI-MAT® uses several energy saving features to minimise
fuel consumption saving upwards of 20%, typically 30%, reducing CO2 and other toxic emissions that can be released into
the atmosphere. Recognition for the product has been achieved in the form
of two DTI Innovation Awards, the prestigious Energy Efficiency
Recommended badge provided by the Government's Energy Savings Trust and
it has qualified to be included on the Energy Technology List from the
Carbon Trust. It has also gathering a mass of interest from electricity
companies, councils, schools, businesses and home owners.
Being
totally compatible with any existing wet central heating system the
controller uses its internal intelligence software to react to changing
external weather conditions and completely manages the central heating
for you by maintaining the temperature or comfort level you choose. It
also ensures hot water is available even when heating is not required and
maintains a level of heat during periods when the building is unoccupied,
giving total frost protection for the heating and water pipes whilst
preventing the build up of damp.
With a
long list of compliance to various legislation, quality standards and
marks of approval, each unit is installed by a qualified installer and
comes with a full 5-year manufacturer's warranty, giving long-term
confident in the products and their continued future performance.
